| Description | Guyane Française is from 1974 on an integral part of France and uses now the French stamps. Stamps issued from 1904 to 1907 and designed by Paul Merwart. His name is mentioned in the bottom-left corner of every stamp. On the stamp in the center the name of Merwart can be found near the knee of the goldwasher. On 2c: an anteater, on 25c a gold washer, on 2Fr a coconut plantation near Cayenne. * The numbering according to Scott is not consecutive. |
